fitness exercises
John A. asked:

I started lifting at school and running during track this year and got pretty fit and strong. I was wondering if anyone knew of any exercises that could sustain that without any machines or a bench? Im already running up and down the street but just need a few exercises for my biceps, triceps, abs, those sort of things. And if you could please give about how many reps i should start with. Thanks

Keep running, but probably have some get you the distance, and run some miles every day. Push ups and crunchs will sustain if you do them reps of 25 for push ups and reps of 50 for crunchs and do about 300 push ups and 600 crunchs. Far as eating, just eat slow and don’t over eat. Running will be the eaisest way.. If your willing to shell out 30-50 bucks go to walmart and buy yourself some dumbbells that are either your max or 5lbs over, so you can train with them to get stronger..

Thats what I did to come back for football.. And I’m a long distance runner in track.

Use what you have – do pushups against the ground, do pullups in doorways, do situps anywhere! Do 10 reps and increase your sets as comfortable.
